<b><u>NATURE OF WORK </u></b>:
1) Assemble tail, wing, fuselage, or other structural section of aircraft, space vehicles, and missiles from parts, subassemblies, and components, like frames, bulkheads, doors, stabilizers, and landing gear, following blueprints specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
2) Position and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, like protractors & dividers, following blueprint station lines index points.
3) Trim & files parts to fit and verifies fitting tolerances, using measuring instruments, like gauges calipers.
4) Drill, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools power tools.
5) Locate holes to be drilled in structural assembly for installation of parts components, using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.
6) Drill holes in structure attaches brackets, hinges, braces, and clips to secure installations.
7) Install parts and components, like incidental plumbing, electrical, rigging, or other functional items, in main structure, using hand tools power tools.
8) May specialize in assembling and installing parts, structural components, and subassemblies to build wing assemblies be designated Assembler-Installer, Wing Structures..

** Assemble of stringers, Longerons and seat rail on main assembly jigs
** Carry out repair and rectification of snags.
** Layout, drilling, reaming and riveting of aircraft parts
** Fabricate and install structural modifications on aircraft components.
** Installation of sub assembly parts using appropriate jigs and fixtures
** Layout, drilling, countersinking and suiting of skins as per skin drawing.
** Apply cleaning solvent and proper sealing compound on aircraft parts according to process cards.
