Work Experience :
Worked as a Principal Investigator in a research project titled “Microbiological, Biochemical and Phytochemical analysis of some Asavas and Arishtas” funded by DST under the Women Scientist Scholarship Scheme (WOS-A) from Nov’2011 to March 2015.
Worked as a Chemist in Anacon Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur from April 2010 to Nov’2011.
** Analyzed water, food and cosmetic samples
** Handled instruments like oven, muffle furnace, UV – visible spectrometer, flame photometer etc.
** Faced NABL and BIS audits
As a lecturer on adhoc basis in Biotechnology Deptt. In GuruNanak College of Science, Ballarpur from June 2006 to March 2010.
** Imparted detailed knowledge about all bio-physical techniques and biomolecules.
** Proficient handling of microbiological instruments and conduction of successful analytical tests.
Worked at a QualityAssessment Centre as an analytical researcheralong with lectureship which works for the quality assessment of soils from nearby villages to work for the upliftment of the under privileged classes.
Additional Information :
** Attended a camp on sickle cell anaemia sponsored by Catholic Relief Society, Mumbai. It was an extensive survey of two months during which we visited 10 nearby villages, collected samples, educated people about the disease, analyzed samples and provided treatment free of cost.
** Undergone a training of 3 months at Deenee Chemicals, Chandrapur on the analysis of soil, water, biofertilizers.
** Attended a 2- day symposium BIOTALK- 3, 2005 on cancer organized by Hislop College, Nagpur.
** Presented a posture in Herbotech – 2007 – a DST and ICMR sponsored national seminar at Dharampeth M.P.

** Won the best paper for oral presentation at National Conference on Women Entrepreneurship through Science and Technology
** Have filed a patent pending with Mumbai Patent office no. 3405/mum/2013
