PROCESS DESIGN :
- Performing Thermal design of AFBC Boiler.
- Finalizing Water wall and Bed size.
- Performing Bed Balance for various fuels based on Bed coil area required.
- Fixing the layout of Bed coils and Bed super heaters based on Bed coil area required for various fuels.
- Finalizing DB plate size.
- Fixing the Thermal Heat transfer area required for Water wall, Convection super heater, Radiant super heater, Economizer, and Air heater based on Flue gas entry and exit temperature.
- Finalization of Water wall height, fixing layout of Convection, Radiant super heater, Bed super heater, Economizer, and Air heater based on final requirement.
- Preparation of Thermal layout, Bed coil layout, DB plate layout, Fuel feeding layout and Circulation ratio layout as per final thermal requirement.
- Carrying out pressure drop calculations.
DETAIL DESIGN - PRESSURE VESSELS & NON-PRESSURE PARTS :
- Preparing the Boiler Plot Plan, Loading data drawings, General Arrangement drawings (Elevation, Plan and Sectional side view), P & I drawings, and Bought out indent.
- Design of pipe sizing as per Velocity limits, and Design of pipe thickness corresponding to the pressure, temperature as per ASME B31.1 STD.
- Preparing IBR Calculations for Pressure Parts Drawings to get the IBR approval & Structure drawings for pressure part supporting.
- Preparing documents of technical delivery condition for feed pump, MSSV, start up vent valve, Control valves & other boiler Mountings.
- Preparing the raw material forecast and selecting the material as per the costing.
- Selecting feeders for fuel feeding arrangement & bunker sizing.
- Scheduling the work for execution of project.
- Follow up of Suppliers for Bought out items.
- Co-ordinating with Electrical department and comparing with tender specification for the selection of Electrical instruments.
- Co-ordinating with ESP department and releasing the ESP General Arrangement and Foundation Loading Data drawing with respect to order transmittal and customer digression.
- Co-ordinating with Project management for the timely execution and for information required from customer.
