Project 1  :
Title  : INTERFERENCE CANCELLATION USING UNCOORDINATED BEAMFORMING IN COGNITIVE NETWORKS.

The beam forming vectors are designed such that the interference caused by the cognitive transmitter to the primary receiver and the interference caused by the primary transmitter to the cognitive receiver is completely nullified while maximizing the rate of both the primary and secondary links.


The proposed algorithms also maximize the achievable rates of both links through uncoordinated beam forming. Beam forming exploits channel knowledge at the transmitter to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) at the receiver by transmitting in the direction of the eigenvector corresponding to the largest Eigen value of the channel.

Title  : DESIGN OF ROUTING PROTOCOL FOR MANET THROUGH ENERGY CONSUMPTION TECHNIQUE
In MANET, power aware is important issue to improve the communication energy efficiency at individual nodes. We propose efficient power aware routing (EPAR), a new power aware routing protocol that increases the network lifetime of MANET. In contrast to conventional power aware algorithms, EPAR identifies the capacity of a node not just by its residual battery power, but also by the expected energy spent in reliably forwarding data packets over a specific link. Using a mini-max formulation, EPAR selects the path that has the largest packet capacity at the smallest residual packet transmission capacity. This protocol must be able to handle high mobility of nodes that often cause changes in the topology
