Job Profile :
** I have thirty five years of sound experience in the field of Hot-Dip-Galvanising and worked in the position of Works Manager, Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Plant Manager.
** After three years of my service in M/s.Jakasam Iron and Metal Works, as supervisor,
** I joined M/s. B.G. Shirke and Company of Poona as Galvanising Supervisor in the early months of year 1981.There I continued as a Shift-in-Charge for period of six Years, i.e.
till April 1987. During this period, I learned Galvanising operations in a
** Scientific and practical way. Such as shop flooring planning, Production, Quality Control,
** Labour allocation, Furnace Maintenance, installation of new galvanizing kettle etc. Apart from production line I learnt Quality Control Process such Testing of Chemicals, Degreasing solution,Acid, flux solution and water. Testing of Galvanised Steel, Coating thickness, Stripping test, Preece test, Adhesion test as per Indian Standard and other International Standards.
** On the basis o f my previous experience I obtained job in M/s. Binladen Industrial Co. Jeddah ( Kingdom of Saudia Arabia), as Production Engineer in the month of May 1987.
** My experience and confidence both helped me to work there for eight years. I worked as a Production Engineer (for the first fours years) independently, and I was fully responsible to manage the plant and solve day-to-day problems. There I entrusted with the responsibilities of production planning, maintaining delivery schedule and achieving the target within available resources and manpower. I was to co-ordinate the administrative and marketing departement and clients. Next four years I worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer. There too I worked and trained subordinates and satisfied to the Management and customers. Here I took the charge of project to replace old kettle and reconstruct the furnace.
** In the meantime of my career, I was deputed to supervise the construction of new galvanizing Plant right from the excavation to complete erection of plant. The size of galvanizing kettle was 14Mx 1.5Mx 2.0M. The whole work was successfully completed under my supervision.
** On the 4th September 1996 I joined Bahrain Work Shop Co. (Galvanising Plant) took charge of Production as well as Quality Control department. From June 1998 to March, 1999, worked as Quality Assurance Manager in Union Galvanising Dubai UAE
** On 1st May 1999, I joined vishvachaya Galvanisers Pvt. Ltd Poona, as a Works Manager till March 2001, I was responsible to look after all regular day to day activities of factory right from contacting clients to production,quality control, Maintenance, house keeping etc.I designed there furnace of 4Mx1Mx 1.4M and it worked successfully.
** I have designed and fabricated Jigs and fixtures required for Pickling and dipping of the various types of steel structures, Process tanks. In short I would like to mention that I can set whole galvanizing Plant independently at very economical cost.
** On 13th April 2001, I joined M/s. al-Ajab Metal Galvanising Dammam Saudi Arabia as Production Manager. Since the set up was new, I set the plant completely. Later for few months I worked as Quality Assurance Manager and set Q. A.department.
** Worked as Head of the galvanizing department in Galva Coat Industries Abu Dhabi UAE for nine months
** Worked as Plant Manager in Poona Galvanisers Pvt. Ltd Jejuri Poona (India), nearly for 3 years.
