** Indenting parts as per the requirement received from Production planning after deducting pending indent, order and stock at various stages.
** Forwarding GRN Copies / Modvat copies within stipulated time to accounts.
** Sending material for Job work as per Purchase Order / Work Order after thorough verification.
** Monitoring third party stock and taking corrective action in case of differences.
** Monitoring receipt of Annexure copies (214-86-C & 4.
[5][a]) from Vendor and follow up with Purchase / Vendor to receipt with the stipulated time.
** Planning rejected material / excess material back to vendor within specified time.
** Maintaining computerized records of incoming & outgoing materials, inventory levels.
** Keep a check on Stores inventory / ordering levels & initiate necessary action for replenishment of stocks.
** Proper storage of received material at pre-defined storage locations for quick and easy retrieval.
** Keep track of non moving stock and inform the management for further actions.
** Interact directly with the shop floor for issue of tools/ material/ hardware.
** Co-ordinate between Production planning and Purchase department for timely order and receipt of material.
** Finalizing material issues on a daily basis.
** Submitting stock statement & Month End Stock Statement to Accounts
** Proper maintenance of necessary documents, files, registers etc. for Tractability and audit purpose.
** Arrange Transporter for sending Job Work material & Dispatch Material.
