** I have been working as an English language lecturer at Vocational Training College, Sur, in the Sultanate of Oman for the department of English language since Sept 2008 teaching in the trainee training programmes. Moreover, I worked for N.B.M.Law College, Vizag, India as an English language lecturer in post foundation levels teaching academic writing and report writing skills. Further, I worked as an English language lecturer for Ministry of Education, Maldives, from Jan 2005-Nov 2006 teaching Elementary and Intermediate students. Moreover, I worked as a senior faculty of English language, for Belmont School, India. I had been teaching English as a foreign language to grades 12 students (Third Secondary), 11 (second secondary) in the Ministry of Education, India since 2004. Prior to my assignment in Oman, I worked as an English language Lecturer at private Colleges in India. I’ve 16 years of experience in teaching English. My hobbies are Reading, Traveling, Watching TV and Browsing Internet. I’m cooperative, helpful, hard-working, supportive and a good organizer.

Monitoring the implementation of Time Table and motivating the staff to teach to the standards of the trainees as most of them are from rural background and study courses such as Carpentry, Construction, Mechanical, Welding etc. The course is devised in such a manner to teach English to them on basic Social and Technical English catering to the needs of their respective area of study. It is modeled on Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Headway books are predominantly followed to teach Social English and Technical Books are designed by the respective teacher according to the needs of the specialization of the respective workshop. Advanced technologies such as Computer generated Over-head projectors are used in every class to create a visual effect and Audio equipment is also installed in every class to make the listening part of the language most effective. Overall the teaching becomes very interesting as the student participation is given primary importance.
