I have 2 years of rich experience in Implementation and Testing of ERICSSON BTS and Transmission Equipments. Presently working as BTS and Transmission Implementation Engineer at Ericsson India private Ltd, Chennai, through IMSI India private limited (it’s a ERICSSON outsourced company).
I am responsible for Integration, Testing and Quality Audit in Chennai and ROTN circle. I support my team in bringing up sites, especially during expansions, thereby helping them to troubleshoot. I am also responsible for setting up Microwave Hops, E1 routing and Implementing Protective (1+1 SNCP) rings. Apart from the above I also implement SDH equipments like Ericsson MLHC and use AXX as ADM. Finally I am required to maintain the manpower and achieving the targets in time.
Job Activities :
** Commissioning of BTS cell site equipments and the microwave equipments .
** Commissioning of all type of cabinets like Micro and macro sites with edge.
** Swapping of old cabinets RBS2202 with new cabinets RBS2206 with EDGE.
** Expanding existing configuration to new configuration i.e. 4, 4, 4 to 6, 6, 6 or 8, 8, 8.
** Defining of Mini links [RAU, MMU] and E1 routing for new sties.
** E1 Upgradation of mini links from 4x2 to 8x2 or 16x2.
** 1+1 hop Upgradation.
** PDH-SDH Hop Conversion.
** Integration of more than 300 BTS with Microwave sites in Tamilnadu Aircel cellular operators using ERICSSION Equipments.
** Integration of more than 75 site in BTS Swapping site changes from RBS 2202 to RBS 2206 in all over Tamilnadu on ERICSSON.
** Making quality Inspection and Rectification work in Tamilnadu Region on ERICSSON
** Commissioning and Integration for Expansion of 2202, 2204+2202, 2206+2204 sites 4+4+4 and 6+6+6 configurations on ERICSSON sites in Tamilnadu Region.
** Planned SDH hops backbone = 250 hops in CHENNAI & TAMILNADU ( 7 & 15 GHz)
** Planned PDH hops short haul= 1000 hops in CHENNAI & TAMILNADU (7 / 15 GHz).
** Achieved 300 site in one month of the GSM 900 network in CHENNAI & TAMILADU
** Achieved 190 site in 15 days of the GSM 900 network in CHENNAI & TAMILNADU
** Involved in successful expansion of the GSM 900 network in CHENNAI with 160 sites
** Involved in successful expansion of the GSM 900 network in CHENNAI With Phase-I.
