1. ON LOAD TAP CHANGER FOR DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER
DESCRIPTION : In this project we studied the "Performance of Transformer" when tap changer is connected in the secondary side of a transformer.This tap changer mechanism uses two switches,to increase and to decrease the number of turns.This project explains,how the voltage changes are going to occur in distribution transformers.
2. SOLAR BASED HOME LIGHTNING SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION : In this project we studied the manufacturing of the Solar Pannel and its house hold applications.

Project I :
Project Title : Integrated Power Supply
Period : From 2009 to 2011
Role : As a Testing Engineer in IPS System for Indian Railways
Description : SMPS based IPS system is new power source introduced in signaling system of Railways replacing conventional power supplies.i.e; individual DC relay feeders Signaling source and DC track circuits.
IPS consists of three main subsystems First subsystem is DC Power source second subsystem is PWM based IGBT Sine wave inverter and where output is continuously maintained hot stand by Mechanism with another inverter and constant voltage transformer. Third Subsystem is DC-DC converters.
Project II :
Project Title : Power Saver
Roll : As a Testing and Commissioning Engineer
Description : Power saver involves the regulated supply, Harmonic elimination and power factor correction. It maintains unity power factor
RESPONSIBILITIES :
** Testing of SMPS based Switch mode rectifiers, Inverters and DC-DC Converter Modules.
** System level performance testing.
** Testing of Supervisory Control Unit.
** Monitoring of charging and discharging cycles of VRLA and LMLA batteries.
** Worked as a Testing Engineer in Customer Support Division in Railway products viz HFTC and IPS system.
