Project Name : Detailed Designed and estimation on Kalinga Institute Girls’ Hostel.

Project Description :
The detailed design and estimation of building consists of all suitable considerations that are required to construct a building by selecting suitable site according to climatic, soil and other related conditions; classification of buildings according to occupancy and construction; parts and components of building; materials required for the building construction.
It is also designed according to general and detailed specification including all details about the foundation, plinth level, wall, roof, painting, varnishing, whitewashing, distempering, glazing, centering and shuttering and measurements of all.
The structural design consists of design of one-way slab, distribution of steel, slab design of all room size, checking regarding failure of slab by considering proper depth of slab and by assuming strong factor of safety, beam design, column designs, and reinforcement of slab, beam and columns, design of links, summary of designs. Size and depth of footing, steels and reinforcement required, column footing designs, shear force and bending moments, bar bending of beams of different sizes, bar bending in lintels. Including abstract of all designs in a complete glance. Abstract of cost of all materials is also detailed.

Project Name : Fly ash brick

Raw materials : Fly ash, navbharat fly ash, lime, gypsum, sand and water.
Duration : Jan 2014 - march 2014
Project Description : Making of fly ash bricks. Handmade fly ash bricks were dried, cured and kept in isolated place. Several tests such as water absorption, compaction and tension etc. were done after measuring the length width and height of the bricks individually and in serially.
