PROJECT PROFILE :
M.Pharm Project :Formulation and Evaluation of Flurbiprofen Floating Microspheres
Description :
In this project Flurbiprofen is prepared as floating microspheres to prevent frequent administration using hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose and ethyl cellulose as polymers.The prepared Flurbiprofen floating microspheres were subjected to FTIR, Particle size and Size distribution, % yield, Drug content, Entrapment efficiency, Invitrodissolution studies, Release kinetics. The present study conclusively demonstrates the feasibility of effectively encapsulating Flurbiprofen into HPMC K15M and EC to form potential controlled release drug delivery system.
B.Pharm Project : Formulation and Evaluation of Diclofenac Sodium Transdermal Gels and Films
Description :
In this project Diclofenac sodium is prepared as trasdermal gels to avoid the extensive first pass metabolism and short half life. In this preparation four different polymers (Cellulose acetate, Ethyl cellulose, Eudragit RL100, Eudragit RS100) are used.
