Project Name : Securing Broker-Less Publish/Subscribe Systems Using Identity-Based Encryption.
Duration : 5 months.
Team Size : Individual Project.

Description :This project aims to provisioning of basic security mechanisms such as authentication and confidentiality is highly challenging in a content based publish/subscribe system. Authentication of publishers and subscribers is difficult to achieve due to the loose coupling of publishers and subscribers.
Likewise, confidentiality of events and subscriptions conflicts with content-based routing.
This project presents a novel approach to provide confidentiality and authentication in a broker-less content-based publish/subscribe system. The authentication of publishers and subscribers as well as confidentiality of events is ensured, by adapting the pairing-based cryptography mechanisms, to the needs of a publish/subscribe system.
PROJECT 2:
Project Name : Effective Collaboration With Information Sharing In Virtual Universities.
Duration : 3 months.
Team Size : 4.
Environment : ASP.NET 3.5, C#.
Description :This project aims to build a new regulation-based framework to recognize and tackle issues of distribution in virtual university environments through role-based access control (RBAC) management. The framework includes a role-based group delegation granting model, group delegation revocation model, authorization granting, and authorization revocation and implemented using XML.
The Information sharing of virtual universities usually occurs in broad, highly dynamic network-based environments, and formally accessing the resources in a secure manner poses a difficult and vital challenge.
