** Review and accept the project quality control plan andprocedures.
** Review the design and approved drawings for the compliance of the standardcode andspecifications.
** Review and accept the welding procedures and witness the welder qualification based on the project quality and coderequirements.
** Monitoring the welding consumables control system and ensure the activities asper the consumable controlprocedure.
** Verifying material certificates and test reports to ensure all grades incoming structural materials according to purchase order and projectrequirements.
** Inspection of structural fit up and tack weldinspection.
** Internaland externalsurveyoftanks,compartments,externalsurveyofSideshell, bottom plates and deck plates of theRigs.

** Prepare and verify the inspection test plans (ITP) in accordance with customer’s specifications /requirements.
Identification of material.
** Review Material certificate as per the client specification and international standards. (ASME, ASTM, API,EN, PED,Norsok)
** Material handling : Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, Super duplexetc.,
** Perform physical inspection of receiving materials against the mill certificate and drawings for theacceptance.
** Perform Dimensional and Visual inspection for the nonstandard items as perthe construction drawing. (Special fittings, Forgings andpipe)
** Request client/3rd party inspector for material inspection upon completion of successful internalinspection.
** Arrange the sample material for testing in case of any additional requirement to be complies.
** Request NDT team to perform the PMI/Hardness/Ferrite test (Internal test)to confirm the material properties against theMTC.
