COMPANY PROFILE :
** An ISO 9000, TS16949 Company of Alucast Group well known for C.I. casting & S.G. Iron casting, copper alloy castings & automotive components.
** Alucast is one of the largest sources of bronze bushes, brakes discs, flywheel, pully which are used in earthmoving equipments. The major customers are ARVIN MERRITOR UK, BOSCH, ILJIN, FORD INDIA
** L & T Bengalore, TENGL, Mumbai, ITAL- TRACTOR Italy & Brazil, ILJIN Chennai, VALLIEO Chennai, FOUNDATION BRAKES (PUNE, JALGAON, GURAGAON) FORD INDIA CHENNAI

RESPONSIBILITY :
** Development of new components
** CNC programming of new components & set up the process for CNC as well as lathe.
** Design of Jigs, Fixture and act on it.
** Vendor development and Supplier Audit.
** Production planning for monthly, weekly & daily basis with the help of customer plan.
** Manpower handling. Conducting morning meeting with subordinates regarding production plan.
** Studying overall Equipment effectiveness
** Part of Quality Issue solving team and reducing in-house NC’s as well as Supplier end.
** Procurement & selection of tool holders, inserts, milling cutters, Grinding wheels & spare parts For machines.
** ISO 9000, TS16949 documents and recordsimplementation action.
** Plan for preventive maintenance.
** Preparation of process sheets
** Plan for day today production target achievement.
** Action plans to be made for future development with discussion with different departments and plant head.
** Action Plan for major In-house rejections.
** Plan the set-up change over activity
** Appointments of new operators & giving on job training to operators.

BFW VMC 5nos , 2 Nos GALAXY Machine MIDAS-6 & 10 Nos MIDAS 10 with FANUC OI TA / TB control, 1No LMW-pilataus 25 T Turning centre, Accurate make CMM, MHAR Make Digimar m/c(2D).
Lathe Tummaster-35, enterprise 1550, Sunrise Milling Machine, Hyd. Press, Drilling machine,6 NOS SPM (drilling, tapping , twin turning ),VTL machines 3nos, Dynamic balancing machine, Torque testing machine, Press machine
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT :
** Achieved the highest production target of the month 20,000 bronze bushes &18000 brackets.( 60 Lacks per month) highest production of ventilated brake disk 25000nos & solid brake disk 25000nos per month.
** Increased production target of Ford flywheel from 290nos to 320nos per day with same manpower.
SPECIAL ACTIVITY :
** Auditee for ISO 9000(TUV) internal audit as a Production Supervisor.
** Saved 50% of cycle time in Hub machining.
** New development of Fly Wheel, Brackets, Hubs, Break discs, Clevis, Pressure plate.
** Attended the training programme of SPC, CAPA, APQP, FMEA, MSA and internal auditor.
** Qualified Internal Auditor.
** Was an Auditee for TS : 16949 Audit.
