DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
**Following Pre Commissioning & Commissioning Activities.
**Delivered safety Induction training to the new workers & Visitors..
**Monitoring strict compliance of Permit to Work system at worksite & explain the importance of the same to the workers.
**To conduct special safety inductions Fire fighting, working at height, scaffolding, hot work, lifting, Confined Space, Safe Chemical Handling.etc...
**Making weekly and monthly HSE reports.
**Precommissioning & commissioning of fixed fire fighting equipments ; fire hydrants system, Jockey pump, diesel driven pump, Deluge system ,FM-200 system, Sprinkler system, fire detection system , alarms, detectors etc.
**Develop of job Safety analysis and Hazards Identifications.
**Carried out Activity Risk Assessment for the specially category jobs
& provided it to the supervisor along with the work permit.
**Preparation of accident, incident and near miss reports, the root cause for the accidents and its preventive measures.
**Made arrangement for marking of shutdown Assembly Point Area, Smoking Shelter & displaying sign boards, Safety slogans, banner at the conspicuous locations.
**Organized Safety Enhancement Scheme for the motivation of the workers & distributed various prizes to the workers.
**Ensured availability of fire fighting Extinguishers where ever necessary & also trained worker for the correct use of the same.
**Monitored Critical Activities on site & corrected the unsafe practices followed by the workers.
**Inspection of all hot work places to ensure that the hot work is done in strict compliance of the requirements for hot work activity.
**Conducted Fire Mock Drill and trained the workers for the ˜Emergency Evacuation Procedure after hearing the emergency siren & conducted head counting of the workers Assembled at the assembly point area.
**Monitor Safety activities in relation to, confined space entry, bolt servicing, welding in confined space, working at elevated location & radiography test etc.
**Weekly safety inspection joint with contractors and making deviation report and its corrective actions and remedial measures.
**Conduct gas test to ensure sufficient oxygen percentage and absence of toxic and hazardous gases in confined spaces before entry for work.
**Attending the everyday tool box meeting and weekly safety meeting to make and aware for all worker about the safe work practice.
**Always remember the company’s policy, which is to target zero accident.
**Having hands on experience in handling of several safety equipments and tools like Oxygen Analyzer, Explosive meter, Sound Level meter.
**Provided necessary help to work force in maintaining good housekeeping & proper waste disposal.
**Regular inspection for Scaffolding.
**Making COSHH First Aid Measures & displaying suitable locations.
**Inspection of all safety equipments such as PPE, Safety Belts, Fire Extinguishers etc…, to ensure their reliability.
