Project details :
POLYMERIC (PP) LAYERED NANO COMPOSITE
The polymer (poly propylene) is combined with clay material in the size of nanoscale by the compounding process and produces the composite material for wide range of applications especially packaging applications.
DEVELOPMENT OF BIOCOMPOSITE FILM FOR WET FOOD PACKAGING APPLICATION
Developed the bio composite films of PLA and chitosan blend for wet food packaging.
These films are made by two ways, micro film by extrusion process and nano nonwoven mat by electro spinning process. Water absorption and anti microbial activity are the main characters of the film.
