Generation and furnishing of reports to client and management. Responsible for maintaining safety and Environmental standards.
Drilling (working out Drilling & Blasting patterns) and splitting of rocks by Rock Splitter (MAKE DARDA). Cavity treatment, fore poling lattice girder & wire mesh fixing to the face for stability, self drill Rock Bolt drilling (MAI ROD).
All operations for bore tunnels using slurry & EPB TBM, including Tunnel segmental ring selection, controlling crew and dealing clients representative. Supervision of civil works. First stage track bed concreting in the tunnels.

Position  : Senior Tunnel Engineer June 2011Till Date
SCOPE  : Design and build Beauty World Station, 22 meter deep, and twin bored tunnels about 2000mtrs in length with HERRENKNECHT Mix shield machine with a finished Dia of 5.8 Meters supported with segmental lining.
The complete tunneling process along the 16.6km stretch of the DTL2 is expected to take about 18 months with 19 TBMs being used concurrently at different locations along the alignment. DTL2 is on track to be completed in 2015.
DTL2, which will be fully underground, comprises 12 stations and one depot to be completed in 2015,
Contract  : C916, DTL-2 Awarded to McConnell Dowell S.E.A. Pte Ltd, S$ 309,330,548.00

Position  : Senior Tunnel Engineer Oct 2009May2011
SCOPE  : Design and build PROMENADE Station under the existing Promenade Station, Rochor Shaft about 33mtr Dia. and 28 meter deep, and Twin bored tunnels about 1200mtrs in length with STEC EPBM finished Dia 5.8 Meters supported with segmental lining.
The 4.3km fully underground DTL1 will comprise six stations  : Chinatown, Cross Street, Landmark, Bay front, Promenade and Bugis. Construction for DTL1 will be completed by 2013).
Contract  : C902, DTL-1 Awarded to STEC is worth approximately S$231 Million.

3) WSA JV(C-855), Alpine Bau GmbH(Singapore)  :
Position  : Senior Engineer (Tunnels) April 2007Sept.

The Circle Line (CCL) which is set to fully complete from 2010 onwards, will cut travelling time and allow commuters to bypass busy interchanges like City Hall and Raffles Place. Costing $6.7 billion, the CCL will be a fully underground orbital line linking all radial lines leading to the city. The line will interchange with the North-South Line, East-West Line and North East Line. The CCL will be 33.3 km long with 29 stations. Starting from the Dhoby Ghaut station, it will run through some of the busiest corridors in the city and end at Harbour Front station on the North East Line.
To enhance the accessibility of the Marina Bay area to the rest of the island, LTA will also build and open the Marina Bay station as part of the CCL extension beyond Bay front station in 2012.
Responsibilities  :
Assist Tunnel Manager to prepare the minutes of meetings, discuss Tunnel Safety Plan, preparation of risk assessment and contingency measures, Method Statements.
Responsible for routine management of Tunnel/TBM working team and crew for shift works. Decide machine parameters for optimum TBM performance.
Check and take action on the daily reports through shift Engineers. Pass the necessary instructions to shift Engineers.
Co-ordinate with design, geotechnical department on the tunnel design and instrumentation and monitoring regime as well as tunnel team for the logistics.
Incident reporting to Tunnel Manager.
Ensure that crew understand the safe working procedures and act accordingly.
Review of instrumentation scheme, TBM operation condition based on bore log data.
Responsible for survey methods.

Position  : Tunnel Technical Officer Jan.2006 – April 2007
Responsibilities  : Supervision and Inspection, quality controlling, co-ordinate with main contractor and inspection for Slurry Tunnel Boring Machine ,Excavation parameter, ring installation inspection, cement grouting, segment repair works, Cutter Head intervention, Cross passage using NATM(New Austrian Tunneling Method),steel girders and Shotcreting system, Tam grouting for settlement prone area and all kind of safety control, quality controls of materials and workmanship co-ordination with contractors, drafting of site minutes of site meetings and site documentation according to BCA regulations of Singapore.
Land Transport Authority (Singapore) is borrowed manpower from PB (Parsons and Brinckerhoff).
Contract 854 awarded to TAISEI for CCL 4&5, about 11Km stretch with five underground stations, which is accomplished by slurry (Tunnel Boring machine) of (KAWASAKI, JAPAN Dia.6.63M).
Contract 855 awarded to WSA JV for CCL 4&5,about 10.5Km stretch with five underground stations, which is accomplished by slurry (Tunnel Boring machine)of (HERRENKNECH ,GERMANY Dia.6.63M)

5) IMCC (International Metro Civil Contractor)  :
IMCC (International Metro Civil Contractor) is a joint Venture of {DYWIDAG GERMENY -L&T INDIA –SAMSUNG KOREA – IRCON INDIA –SHIMIZU JAPAN) for Delhi metro Project. IMCC awarded for the 6.6Km stretch tunnel with including six underground stations which is accomplished by TBM (Tunnel Boring machine) of (HERRENKNECHT Dia.6.46M) in which 1.5 Km parallel of Hard Rock and rest is for soft soil, under design supervision of Mott Mac Donald. U.K.
