Job Profile - DEBAJ :
** Acting as the main technical advisor and work in-charge on site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
** Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
** Responsible for Sub Vendor contract finalizing and local purchase materials.
** Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
** Agreeing a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
** Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client.
** Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
** Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
** Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
** Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
** Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
** Preparing reports as required;
** Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Job Profile – SEPCOIII :
** Responsible for direct supervising the work and leading the supervisors, technicians and sub-vendors in executing the Electrical installation works covering the Transformers, Switchgear (H.V./M.V/LV),MCC, D.Bs., Various Busducts,Lighting system, Earthing system, Cabling works, Cable tray routing Works.
** Responsible for overall plant cable routing around (1700KM).
** Erection &Maintenance of electrical equipments like Motors, Cables, Transformers, Diesel Generator, LV / MV / HV Switchgear Breakers, DG Set, Batteries, Control etc. Finding the root cause of fault in control schemes, equipments, & auxiliaries and remedies thereof to avoid repetition of faults. Suitable modification in control circuits for simplification & need of work.
** Erection, Testing, Commissioning and maintenance of HT motors up to 10 MW (make : BHEL, Alstom, ABB) and LT motors of various ratings.
** Attending day to day defects & troubleshooting pertaining to Switchgear, Diesel Generator, Transformers, Ash Handling Plant, Coal handling Plant, ESP, Battery Chargers, CCW Pump House, Intake well pump house etc.
** Erection and commissioning of area lighting, equipment lighting and street light poles up to 400W.
** Studying of Electrical drawings & Document maintenance.
** Capable of maintaining the technicians’ team having 30 technicians for various site execution activities.
** Submits daily site reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
Present issues in divisional meetings and provide analytical solutions to resolve problems.
** Planning, Scheduling and Execution of Installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical Equipment as per drawing without any deviation.
** Follow up with vendors and consultants regarding Engineering activities and coordination with the vendors for timely manufacturing and the delivery of equipment to the site.
** Coordination with consultant and client regarding erection and commissioning of equipment’s as per protocol and final documentation for handover of project.
** Managing the project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of project targets within the time and cost parameters.
** Certification of contractor works in terms of quality and quantity.
** Coordination with HQ for timely availability of materials at site.
** Ensure safe working environment for co-workers at work place.
** Entire Electrical Billing of Thermal Power Plant.
** Checking bills from Sub contractors.
Maintenance Activities Handled :
** Overseeing maintenance of Transformers, Circuit breakers, Generators, motors, all MCC panels,EOT Crane, Induction furnace, Lab equipments etc.
** Trouble shooting of Motors, control panels and Underground belt conveyor systems.
** Overseeing maintenance of Transformer yard.
** Planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and Instruments to increase machine up time and equipment reliability. Procuring equipments as Scheduled
** Developing Preliminary Plan and making a baseline
** Planning our Work, Synchronizing of various sources.
** Coordinate with mechanical team overhauling of motors, gearbox, etc.Preventive maintenance and shutdown planning activities
