Legal Literacy Camp :
(a) Legal literacy is that where one needs to have some broad information about legal provisions and processes.
(b) Legal literacy is the elementary knowledge of law and not an expert knowledge of an advocate. It is about awareness of the country's political set up.
(c) Legal literacy helps in seeking legal remedies against exploitation and injustice.
(d) Legal literacy makes us aware of several laws which have been enacted for the welfare protection and security of the citizens.
(e) Absence of legal literacy leads to the perpetuity of exploitation and victimisation in many fields.
(f) It makes us responsible persons of a civil society and a society which is just and orderly, where everyone lives with honour and dignity.

Objectives of the Seminar :

Conceptualizing discrimination, exclusion, and inclusion based of caste/ethnicity, religion, agedisability, ethnic background, health status migrant status and sexual orientation.
b. Developing understanding of the nature and dynamics of discrimination and exclusion
c. Understanding challenges posed social exclusion and the ways governments and civil society canhelp to tackle them.
d. Getting acquainted with the current trends in the social exclusion, new studies and approaches thathave emerged in the past few years.

Maha Lok Adalat :
Lok Adalat, as the name suggest means People’s Court. ‘Lok’ stands for People and the word ‘Adalat’ means Court. Lok Adalat is a special kind of people’s court in which disputes solved by direct talks between the litigants. The members of legal profession, college students, social organisations, charitable and philanthropic institutions and other similar organisations may be associated with Lok Adalat.
Salient features of this dispute resolutions are participation, accomadation, fairness,expectations, voluntariness, neighbourliness, transparency and lack of animosity.Lok Adalat after studying the case, try to solve the simple differences which otherwise are likely to leave for reaching consequences through mutual understanding and compromise.
