Duties :
Sr. Project Engineer/Sr.Executive/Executive Engineer :
** Review the ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents submitted in the proposals stage, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, and prepare material estimates for instrumentation work.
** Review contract requirements for project execution, organize the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR), and identify requirements and scope of work; review specifications Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings,BOQ , relevant documents for Instrumentation Project work.
** Establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the instigation of technical queries to projects/client.
** Identify scope of work, budgeted man hours, budgeted quantities, and total number of deliverables, time schedules and other specifications for execution of the work. Recommend cost effective measures to reduce the overall package costs.
** Collection quotation from different contractors/vendors and preparation techno-commercial comparisons.
** Prepare, supervise, review and monitor the development of instrumentation material specifications and data sheets, Instrument Index, Input & Output Lists, Bill of Quantities, Block Diagrams, cable routing, control room layouts, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Termination Diagrams, Loop drawings, Installation Hook-up Drawings, Instrument Plot Plans, Cable Tray/Trench Lay-outs, Cable Schedules, JB schedules, Interconnection Schedules and Installation detail drawings.
** Selection of instrumentation item like transmitters/control valves/RTD/Thermocouple/valve positioner/Instrument cable etc.
** Prepare, coordinate Purchase Requisitions for the procurement of instrumentation materials. Coordinate with various Engineering Discipline like Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control, Civil, and Structural.
** Arrange Pre-bid meeting with contractors/vendors.
** Collection quotation from different manufacturer/supplier for instrumentation like Gauge, transmitter, JB, cable etc.
** Prepare material requisition for instrumentation work.
** Place purchase order for instrumentation items as per project standard/requirement.
** Take follow-up from supplier/manufacturer for delivery of material as per purchase order.
** Inspection of all incoming material of instrumentation items as per project standard and specification.
** Preparation spare parts list for instrumentation items.
** Raise NCR if any non-conformity observes during material inspection.
** Close the NCR by communicating with vendor.
** Understanding and implementation of erection drawing and diagrams.
** Installation of transmitter, gauges, switches (pressure, level, flow,temp.),speed sensors, vibration sensors, temperature sensors, impulse line as per hook-Up drawings and P&ID diagrams.
** Calibration/Testing of Control valves (Fisher/Metso), Safety valves, Transmitters.
** Solve the problem arise during loop checking of instrument.
** Involved in commissioning activities from instrumentation side.
** Solve the problem/Troubleshooting arise during commissioning of project from instrumentation side.
** Preparation of system and loop index for instrumentation.
** Maintenance of Control Valves, Maintenance of field instrument (Pressure transmitter, flow transmitters, temperature transmitters, RTD/Thermocouple, level transmitters etc.
Position/speed/vibration/pH transmitters,Gasadetectors,O2 Analyzers,TOC Analyzers).
** Preparation of standard operating procedure for calibration of instruments.
** Implementing of Preventive maintenance of field instruments and completing the activity without any deviation.
** Coordinate with vendor packages like DCS/PLC ,compressor, analyzer, etp/stp,reactor, extruder, conveying blower, MMS system etc. in order to star-up and successfully commissioning of project.
** Erection and commissioning of Fire detection and alarm system, Gas detection and system.
** Ensure that the work being taken is in good engineering practice and conform to design standards, material specifications, project requirement and scope of work.
** Certify the RA Bill submitted by contractor after execution of work.
QA/QC Engineer (Construction)-Electrical&Instrumentation :
** The preparation of the companies MSRA/JOB PROCEDURE/FQP’S and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
** Control and the distribution of all the companies’ quality documentation.
** Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
** Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management at site.
** Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
** Attend client quality management meetings
** The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
** Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
** Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
** Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
** Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QA/QC manager.
** Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer’s representatives.
** Monitor statistical method reporting.
** Action and close all customer complaints.
** Controls all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project.
** Review of QA/QC documents receiving from site, check the data’s as per project
** Requirement and encoding the same in Mechanical Completion Data Base and Keep it Subsystem vise for Final handover
** Prepare Instrumentation process and non-process matrix.
