Supports other disciplines in the trouble shooting and faults finding of equipment.Ensure Compliance at all times with the Company’s Environmental Health and Safety. Procedures. As well as occupational health and safety regulations similarly compliance with SecurityStudy and Understand the Documents like Loop Schematic, Hook up drawings, Bill of Materials, Cable Schedule, etc. which are related to the works. Check and Identify the Material required for Fabrication/Erection Ensure the materials are as per the requirements. Prepare work Schedule based on the Scope of work Follow up with Sub-contractor for manpower and Tools/Tackles mobilization Check the Work front availability at the work spot includes the availability of tapings, erection of valves, etc.
Explain the Work clearly to sub– Contractor / Skilled Technicians to start the work. Inform Sub contractor to start the work and supervise the work whether they are executing the works As per Standard drawings and documents Do Inspection for the works executed and rectify the faults immediately Pneumatic test for tubing / impulse piping works has to be carried out to ensure leakage in tubes/joints Loop checking for cables to be checked to ensure proper connection and proper working of instruments Pack the instruments properly to avoid transit damage Check the work front availability status. If work front is not available inform client release the fronts at the earliest Check the materials, instruments availability status as per the Bill of Materials If sufficient front is available to start the work, mobilize the manpower / contractor with all necessary tools/tackles Plan and prepare erection Schedule and inform contractor to mobilize the manpower and manpower and tools accordingly Ensure safety at Work Spot Obtain work permits before starting the works Get certification from client for the works executed Submit the monthly progressive bills to client timely and get the payment as early as possible Send Site Progress report to head office periodically.
