Specific Job Description :
ERECTION and FABRICATION of Structural steels
Duties and Responsibilities Fabrication And Erection :
** Inspection of all Incoming Material Inspection as per the standards.
** Inspection of fit-up, dimensions, alignment and assembly works.
** Arranging fit up inspection as per dimension and elevation mention in revision drawing.
** Arranging the client inspection every day and making daily progress reports.
** Issue of fabrication drawings and steel material to the contractors as per the erection priority.
** Planning for fabrication of structure by considering area wise completion dates as per schedule.
** Total execution of the job by taking consideration handover dates as per schedule.
** Checking of cutting plan to minimize the wastage of steel.
** Attend Progress Review Meetings with higher officials, Highlight the Project progress status and Bottlenecks and actual site execution Problems.
** Executing and supervising pipe rack structural and equipment structural work in accordance with Specification with adherence to quality and safety policy.
** Responsible for fabrication of pipe rack structural steel items, equipments platforms (rolled / built up / semi built up), etc.
** Implement safety and security measures required by the project site.
** Material procurement is given to material managers according to fabrication drawings.
** Erection of structural materials as per target set by the contractors.

** Reported directly to the Construction Manager and Coordinating daily to the Field Engineer.
** Incorporated these changes in the base structures including compliance to quality requirements.
** Fabrication and Erection of 100000 MT steel structure completed in IOCL project.
