CAREER OBJECTIVE :
Looking for a challenging career which demands the best of my professional ability in terms of technical and analytical skills, and helps me in broadening and enhancing my current skill and knowledge.

EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS :
** 10th M.E.S.E.M.HSS Olavakkode Kerala State Board 2009 95% (Full A+)
** 12th M.E.S.E.M.HSS Olavakkode Kerala State Board 2011 87%

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN AS A PART OF ACADEMIC CURRICULUM :
MINI PROJECT (B.Tech) :
“DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER MONITORING USING GSM TECHNOLOGY”
This project is about design and implementation of a mobile embedded system to monitor and record key parameters of a distribution transformer like voltage, load currents, and oil temperature. The idea of on-line monitoring system integrates a Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM), with a single chip microcontroller and different sensors. It is installed at the distribution transformer site and the above parameters are recorded using the analog to digital converter (ADC) of the embedded system.

If any abnormality or an emergency situation occurs the system sends SMS to the mobile phones containing information about the abnormality according to some predefined instructions programmed in the microcontroller. This mobile system will help the transformers to operate smoothly and identify problems before any catastrophic failure.

MAIN PROJECT (B.Tech) :
“WIRELESS ELECTRICITY THEFT DETECTION SYSTEM”
Wireless electricity theft detection system using Zigbee technology present an efficient and less costly way to overcome the theft of electricity via bypassing the Energy Meter. Hence it controls the revenue losses and utility of the electricity authorized agency. Mainly this system consists of microcontroller,

Energy Meter and a Zigbee module to check for the theft of electricity and then to send a message to the authorized agency which looks after the electricity consumed. The wireless technique used in this system provides the major advantages such as low power consumption and also the low cost of the Zigbee module.

M.Tech PROJECT :
“A BACK-EMF BASED SENSORLESS SPEED CONTROL OF FOUR SWITCH BLDC MOTOR DRIVE”
The objective of this work is to create an economical drive system for a BLDC motor with lesser number of switches.

In this paper, a new technique is introduced to control the speed of a Four switch Brushless DC (FSBLDC) Motor drive, by sensing the back-emf developed across the stator windings. Conventionally, the speed can be monitored by using speed encoders and are very expensive, also create noises while placing on the motor shaft.

So a sensorless speed detection algorithm is developed by sensing the back-emf and the speed is calculated. Here the switching losses of the machine are abated by exciting the motor with a Four Switch Inverter with lesser number ofswitches. The entire system was simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and the performance of the system was analyzed for different speed and torque references.
