Professional Experience :
1] Presently working with FDC LIMITED, as Manager – Indirect Tax (GST), Since May, 2013 to till date.

Post GST :
** GST Implementation in the SAP.
** GST Registration of all Locations (25 States)
** Compliance to Transitional Credit and filed Trans-1 Form and Trans-2 Return before due date.
** Review of GST Liability Computation and payment of the GST of all locations (24 States)
** Timely compliance of Tax payment and returns of all locations (48 Returns p.m.)
** Periodic Review of Transactions on fortnightly basis.
** Update time to time all related laws to users and stakeholders. (i.e. GST, Excise & Service Tax)
** Training and guide to Indirect Tax Team and site location staff.
** Timely submission and Reply to Govt. authorities against their notices and mail.
** GST Reconciliation

Pre-GST :
** Service Tax & Excise compliance
** Review of Service Tax Liability computation of all locations and payment of the same under Centralized Registration before due date.
** Data collection for preparation of applicable tax returns and filing the same within due date. (ER-1, ST-3 & Dealer)
** Ensured regular and timely compliance of tax payments and return filing of almost 12 locations (Locations : Excise 7, Service Tax 2 and 3 Dealer).
** Ensured timely Cenvat credit availment in all locations and review pending list Cenvat credit to be availed.
** Ensured timely Input Service credit availment and distribution the same through ISD to various plants within time.
** Handled various External and Internal audits in Plant as well as Corporate Office and their compliances. (Excise and Service Tax audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit & Internal Audit etc)
** Appeared before various authorities in response to notices, scrutiny, appeal and others issues many times independently and sometimes in consultation with consultant and maintaining records of the same.
** Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and service levels of the team.

Key Achievements / contributions to present organization :
** Handled successfully GST Implementation in SAP and also Service Tax Software.
** Timely availment of Transitional Credit on expiry of area based exemption (Baddi Plant)
** Evaluate the data and implementation of exemption of Excise duty on certain products
** Drafted Show Cause Notice Reply and appeared before Assistant /Dy.

2] Worked with WELSPUN MAX STEEL LIMITED (Division of WELSPUN Group), at Alibaug. As Jr. Officer (Customs & Excise) From May, 2011 to April, 2013.
** Regularly Entry in RG-1 (Daily Stock Account) Register.
** Timely availment of Cenvat Credit in SAP system as well as in manual registers viz. RG-23A & C Part II.
** Preparation and submission of Monthly Returns working (ER-1 & ER-6).
** Preparation of ARE-1 and other supporting documents in respect of Container Exports.
** Documentation in respect of Import of Raw Material by Sea.

Key Achievements / contributions to present organization :
Prepared various formats in Excel (i.e. ARE-1, Bill of Entry & Shipping Bill etc).

3] Worked with CASTROL INDIA LIMITED, At- Patalganga, as an Excise Executive (on Third Party Payroll). From Oct. 2007 to May, 2011.
**  Maintaining relevant records of Excise for payment of duty and availment of Cenvat and Service Tax Credit,
**  Preparation of all documentation relating to Domestic and Export dispatch.
** Daily checking of Cenvat availment with excise documents.
** Preparation and Submission of returns to Excise Department (ER- 1,4 and 5)
** Monthly checking of dispatch & receipt details with excise invoices of Job workers.

Company had appointed as Single Point Accountability (SPA) for all Records & Filling of plant.

4] Worked with M/s. EAGLE STEELS, At Taloja, as an Excise Executive, from March 2005 to September 2007.
