Review of design drawing & implementing client’s comments, preparation pre-qualification inspection documents (Welding, NDT & positive material identification, certification). Visual inspection on completed weldments & record works carried out verify compliance with specific codes, standards & approved complete documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities :
** Inspection of Weld edge preparation as per approved drawing, Fit-up, Preheating.
** Review of welding procedure and performance qualification record.
** Qualify welding procedure and welder as per the application standard.
** Ensure proper preheating and monitor welding parameters during welding.
** Carryout visual inspection of root run, cap and insure inter-pass temp.
** Check dimension of finished weld.
** Selection and performing relevant NDT methods and evaluating the same as per Customer project specification.
** Witness necessary NDT such as Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic particle Inspection, Penetrant testing and Review of weld radiographs as per applicable specification.
** Visual Inspection on different sections such as welds, casting, piping, pipeline and forging valves
** Carried out dimensional inspection on all the finished products like pipe and Fittings etc.
** Carried out PT on the cladded pipes, fittings, flanges and vales etc.
** Welding, NDT & Quality Control Inspection (procedure & welder qualification, welder monitoring) (material & safety data sheet, client data sheet etc.)
** Carry out NDT methods such as Ultrasonic, MPI & DYE Penetrant test in static equipment’s such as tanks, vessels to heater coil.
