Scope of Responsibilities :
Manage and supervises the( Piping and structural )construction activities at the site on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for the due completion of the same as per plan and schedule. Establishes and maintains timely completion of construction activities as per project timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities :
A) Based on inputs received from other engineering disciplines and physical checking work out the job plan for example Piping erection,Tank fabrication and erection, control valve installation,vessel erection etc. and allocate resources for timely completion of the work activities as have been planned.
B) Conducts the JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and prepares the job completion plan for the daily functional activities as have been communication by supervisor.
C) Supervise the daily work activities to ensure that work is completed on time with all quality and safety requirements met as per procedure.
D) Undertakes tasks, requiring a check on the basic parameters which are clearly established to see the successful completion of work and attend to any problems that may need to be attended to.
E) Coordinates with logistics department on the transportation and procurement of required materials which will ensure that the day to day operations run smoothly.
F) Coordinates and schedules manpower and material to meet work requirements. Ascertains that equipment is operable and performing according to standard safety norms.
G) Maintains close liaison with other engineering departments as well as with subcontractors for repair parts to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
H) Investigates and resolves operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
I) Prepare daily progress reports for review by the mechanical Superintendent.
J) Carry out any other duties as and when required by the supervisor
Training And Experience :
1. Well verse in interpretation of iso metric drawing to review and comment.
2. Familiar with Permit to work environment.
