Responsibilities :
Performing Incoming material inspection, verifying vendor’s material certificates in order to confirm as per project specification and relevant International Standards.
Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials like Pipes, Fittings, Flanges & Welding Consumables.
Checking of pipe spool fabrication based on approved spool isometric drawing & bill of materials. Piping spools daily Fit-up Inspection.
Conduct internal audits in the projects. Inspection welds joint preparation, fit-up, dimensional inspection & alignment.
Preparation of Test Packs individual system wise, which includes material certificates, welding history records, NDT reports, equipment & installation and alignment report, hydro test reports etc, and getting client’s approval.
Review of test packages for welding and NDT completion, issue release for hydro static test and witness of the same.
Conduct the leak test (Hydro-test & Pneumatic test) for piping.
Check the line alignment and Re-instatement for piping and the mechanical clearance.
Prepare inspection reports for every inspection activities.
Inspect and ensures every activity according to applicable Specifications, QCP Plans and Procedures, and co-ordinate with Clients.
Co-ordinate with Client & Consultant for stage/final inspection by Client where required & obtaining final inspection.
Co-ordinate with Project Management Team (PMT) for technical queries, follow for closing & taking
necessary corrective/preventive actions within the scheduled time.
Mobilization of manpower, machine, equipment and controlling them under industrial safety precautions.
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly periodical reports.
Conversant and ASME Piping code & API standards.
Supervision of materials attending spool support fabrication and erection .
Pre-commissioning activities in all vessels and Reactors catalyst and chemical loading.
Co-ordination with pre- commissioning and commissioning activities.
