reheater stage-2 coils consists of 256 individual coils hence 256 lift and 2000 welding joints at an elevation of 98.5 meters I suggested to make it blocks of 32 coils in each block by welding the inlet end of the coils to its common headers, by doing this 256 no of lifts was reduced to 8 no’s and 1000 welding joints are completed at the ground level. A special lifting arrangement was prepared for these with the help of design department.
Significantly involved in preparing the erection scheme for pressure parts by employing winches and rearranging the sequence accordingly, instead of EOT crane as proposed by the client
Efficiently prepared and presented a 3D model of the boiler on AutoCAD during Central Power Ministers site visit which was appreciated by the clients
Prepared a PowerPoint presentation visualizing the water steam flow of boiler with all connection details
Prepared a block drawing showing all major equipment inside the pent house with details of no of lift, unit weight, and position. The daily progress was directly highlighted on it.
