PROJECT 1  :
Organization  : HAL Banglore
Title  : Design Of wing fence and wingtip devices
Description  :
Wing fences, also known as boundary layer fences and potential fences are fixed aerodynamics devices attached to aircraft wings. Wing fences are flat plates fixed to the upper surfaces (and often wrapping around the leading edge) parallel to the airflow. They are often seen on swept wing aircraft.

They obstruct span-wise airflow along the wing, and prevent the entire wing from stalling at once.
Wingtip devices are usually intended to improve the efficiency of fixed wing aircraft, the intended effect is always to reduce the aircraft drag by altering the air flow near the wingtips.

PROJECT 2  :
Organization  : HAL Bangalore
Title  : up grading the altitude performance of an unmanned Ariel vehicle
Description
An UAV is used to trace, capture, and monitor the real time video over the hill top surveillance and recovery vehicle. It is the pilot less vehicle which can remotely operated at any rugged (dirty) operations.
My aim is to increase the absolute ceiling of the aircraft at which it can easily fly in enemy terrains, which are at high altitudes. Some of the few ways to achieve this is by making changes in the thrust and drag of an aircraft.
Changes, which we are trying to make, is increasing the thrust and decreasing the drag by implementing some different techniques on the propeller blade, structure and engine’s rpm (when the aircraft is in climb). Intending that this helps the UAV to fly at greater altitudese.
