Academic Project Title : Sequence Analysis of Plasmodium falciparum gene PF3D7-0220100.
Location :Guru Nanak Dev University.
Project Summary : The gene PF3D7-0220100 is conserved protein of function. As per bioinformatics analysis this gene is conserved and shows no homology with any of genes found in human. I tried to clone this gene in pET28 expression vector for further biochemical and structural analysis. I was able to amplify two different regions (PRESAN domain and DNAJ domain.
