Description :
** Repaglinide is a nonsulfonylurea oral hypoglycaemic agent of the meglitinide class, is mainly used in the management of type II diabetes mellitus.
** The main aim of the project work is to develop the repaglinide microparticles by using Carbopol940 and hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose as a polymer for prolonged, relatively constant effective level of repaglinide and improve patient compliance.
** The project study is “Repaglinide Microspheres by ionotropic gelation technique” was meticulously designed to improve the therapeutic efficacy and to prolong its release.
