PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
A. The Pali Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. (Since November 2006) :
As a District Central Cooperative Bank it provides banking facility in the district. It inculcates thrift habit in rural areas by mobilizing rural savings and distribute agriculture loans, housing loans, personal loans and commercial loans. I am employed as Branch Manager in one of its branches. Responsible for efficient and effective consumer banking, service delivery and relationship management and achieving annual deposits and loan targets, escalating unresolved issues in a timely, accurate and responsible fashion, fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities as may be required to meet the goals and objectives of the Bank.
A. Modelling Surface Equipments (July 2004 to October 2006) :
The manufacturer of pneumatic type abrasive (sand and grit) blasting machines, pollution control equipments like cyclones & dust bag collectors and blasting safety wears.
The resources were meager and the competition was tough with MNC’s but with hard work and devotion we were able to establish ourselves. I was designing and marketing the equipments. Besides these used to survey the technology in international market and performed research and development of new machines. The participation in fairs and developing new markets was also associated with myself. The business was further expanded to the handicrafts business both wooden and metal. It is our family business. The prior experience of community mobilization helped a lot in maintaining client relationship and understanding his requirement.
B. Non Government Organisation (January2002 to June2004) :
The mission was to enhance the socio economic status of the people in the remote areas through collective action and community mobilization for sustainable development highlighted by Natural Resource Management, Institutional Development, Capacity Building, Gender Integration and Economic Empowerment. The beneficiaries of the project were the poor families with emphasis on women empowerment to raise their socio-economic status by the formation of self help groups (SHG’s). The group members were opened account in bank where they were to deposit their saving and even take loan over them for their any economic activity. It was a tough task with limited resources available to make these poor and backward people understand and come in the habit to save their earnings.
