DESCRIPTION :
The goal is to produce a signal that can be transmitted easily and decoded to reproduce the original digital data. wireless technology plays prominent use in this project
A modem (modulator-demodulator) is a device that modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information, and also demodulates such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted information
In operation the modem can be in one of two modes, data mode in which data is sent to and from the computer over the phone lines, and command mode in which the modem listens to the data from the computer for commands, and carries them out
TITLE : Smart dust network for border surveillance system
DESCRIPTION :
Project aim is to develop, wireless sensor Networks for detection of enemy intrusion.
Technology used are embedded with wireless technology
The greatest threat to national security is terrorism and it cannot be defeated by conventional military force alone.
To assist the army and security forces operating in critical areas, smart dust like micro sensors with wireless interfaces could be utilise to study and monitor these environments
MiWi-protocol used here it provides reliable direct wireless communication
