DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Duties and Responsibilities include,
Assessment Planning, implementation and Evaluation of nursing care to all patients,
Maintenance of Aseptic Technique while doing any procedure,
Assist Doctors while providing Intubations, Ventilation, Central Venous Catheterization,
Use complete Aseptic Techniques while doing procedures like Ryle’s tube insertion, Foley’s catheterization, Wound care and management,
Special care of the patient on Ventilator,
Special care of the patient in the recovery room during post operetive period.
DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE HOSPITAL :
A.R.A.M APOLLO HOSPITAL is a 250 bedded Hospital with department of MICU, CCU, NICU, Medical, surgical, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Dialysis, ENT, ophthalmology, Cathlab, ITU, Transplant care unit, Cardiac OT, General OT, Neuro OT and orthopedics.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Admission of the patient in the unit,
Physical and Psychological support to the patients,
Proper Hand washing before and after each procedure,
Intravenous line insertion,
Administration of Medication,
Administration of Oxygen and Nebulisation,
Implement treatment as required,
Monitor and evaluate nursing care plan after carry out each procedure,
Give Health teaching and Psychological support to the patients undergoing for surgery,
Management of pre and post operative patients,
Urinary (Foley’s) catheterization,
Management of burns and wounds,
Respiratory Assessment and insertion of oral Airway,
Maintain records,
Management of Hypovolemic shock,
Nasogastric tube insertion,
Taking Blood for Arterial Blood Gas Analysis,
Assist Doctors in procedure like Endotrachial intubation, Extubation, central line insertion,
Assist Doctors in performing Diagnostic procedures like bone marrow aspiration, lumbar puncture,
Assist Doctors in emergency procedure like Defibrillation, CPR,
Maintain good interpersonal relationship with patients, colleagues and supervisors,
