Prepare District Wok Plan related to family planning programmes and trainings;
Develop Family Planning and training budgets as required for the operationalization of the District Annual Program Implementation Plan;
To coordinate Addl. Chief Medical & Health Officer (Family Welfare), Superintendent of Civil hospital and Director of State Institution of Health & family Welfare, Guwahati for arranging training under National Rural Health Mission program;

Dhubri district become best performing district in IUCD insertion (family planning method for women) during 201011 in Assam;
Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI) honored District Program Management Unit (DPMU), Dhubri in appreciation of the contribution towards celebration of World Breastfeeding week 2011.
