Project Name – Design of Hand Held Air Conditioner (In this, the ambient air is passed through a cylindrical duct by means of a fan, which is surrounded by a mixture of ice and water which works as coolant.
When the incoming air comes in contact with the inside surface of duct ,the transfer of heat from hot air to coolant takes place due to the temperature difference between them and ambient air get cooled and hence a blast of cold air is obtained at the outer end of duct.)
