Title : “A methodology to estimate the life and permissible stresses in a
Component subjected to variable loading”
DESCRIPTION : This project was carried out in 8th semester. The objective of this investigation is to develop a methodology to predict the permissible stress in a component with known load history such that computed life is equal to higher then the expected life.To determine the permissible stresses a program has been developed using c++ (life program).the program is able to carry iterations until the computed life becomes equal to or greater then the expected life by varying the permissible stress”
