Responsibilities:-
Ensure
compliance of safe work practices in line with Company Policies so as to
maintain a:

Monitor and analyse maintenance practices and procedures and change/modify as
required to constantly improve hazard recognition and safety awareness with the
ultimate aim of zero harm..
Conduct monthly crew safety meetings, daily workplace inspections a
nd document as
required and action follow up requirements.
Investigate, analyse and document incidents/accidents
Ensure correct repair and maintenance procedures are ad hered to.
Ensure all preventative maintenance and unscheduled work are prionitised efficiently to
suit production and maintenance requirements.
The maintenance crew consisted of 2 crews each 10 to 12 people.
Ensure compliance of safe work practices in line with Company Policies.
Develop and implement safe work procedures.
Investigate, analyze and document incidents/accidents.
Monitor and analyse maintenance practices and procedures to ensure budget forecasts
are maintained.
Liaise and participate with planning department in the short and long term budget
preparations and reviews.
Liaise with shift supervisors and ensure all preventative maintenance and unscheduled
work are prioritised efficiently to suit production and maintenance requirements.
Ensure correct repair and maintenance procedures are adhered to.
Attend daily production meetings to ascertain production priorities and requirements.
Training local employees in all aspects of heavy equipment maintenance procedures.
Provide technical and diagnostic support.
