KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Review of Welding Procedure and performance Qualification record.
Quality welding procedure and welder as per the applicable standard.
Verify correctness of consumables and proper storage.
Ensure proper per-heating and monitor welding parameters during welding.
Carry out visual inspection of root pass & ensure inter-pass temperature as per WPS.
Check dimension of finish weld.
Witness necessary NDT such as Penetrant testing, Magnetic particle testing, Ultrasonic testing and Review of weld Radiographs as per the applicable specification.
Carried out dimensional inspection on all finished products like pipe and fittings
Carry out Visual and Dimensional checks of piping spools, equipment, skid as per approved drawings.
Ensure post weld heat treatment is carried out as per approved procedure
Witness Hydro-testing of piping as per Hydro test procedure.
Witness Hydrostatic and pneumatic test of valves, spools etc.,
Witness calibration of various instrument pressure gauges , pressure transmitters and pressure safety valves etc.,
Ensure welding as per approved welding procedure Qualification and contractor deplys approved welders. Monitor storage , handling and backing welding consumables.
Carry out material inspections at yard
Carry out material inspection before erection , make sure that it is installed according to the approved isometric drawing , including grades, class etc.,
Carry out inspection for Re-instatement.
Conduct daily and weekly meetings with QC personals.
Mechanical Equipment Installation, Piping, Material dimensional check of isometric/structural Fabrication drawing during Fabrication and Erection of Piping / Structural connecting to the Mechanical Equipments.
Line checking and reinstate piping lines / steel structures as per project specification, procedures, ASME Piping Process / AISC specifications, codes and standards. Ensure that Quality maintained and in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan.
Manages and Delivers all the Site Activities.
To guide and lead a team/contractors to achieve desired progress and to take adequate corrective action and to ensure project completion as per targeted schedule.
Planning/ Coordinating/ Executing/ Reviewing / Reporting Site Progress.
Ensure QA/QC Requirements as per Company's quality policy and approved quality plans.
Progress reporting to the client as well to the management and informing the critical path etc. in time for taking remedial measures.
Responsibility to meet the project required productivity.
Responsible to review and check that all approved Documentation is available on-site.
