ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
** Responsible for the Steel Structure Pressure parts, Piping & Rotary Parts Inspection at various stages like Fit up, Dimensional check, Weld visual, Geometry check during final Inspection with Clients according to Codes & Standard Specification.
** Preparation & Reviewing of WPS, PQR and Field Welding Schedule, Site Quality Control Procedure, NDT & PWHT Procedures and other Inspection & testing related procedures.
** Preparation of Inspection Test/Field Quality Plan and getting approval from Clients for all Boiler, ESP & BOP Piping Systems.
** Inspection of NDT activities such as Penetrant Test,Magnetic Particle Test and RT Film Interpretation etc.
** Involved in Welding Monitoring for Alloy materials such as P1,P4,P5A ,P15E and P8 materials
** Involved in Inspection & Monitoring of Misc. Piping, Critical Piping, LP & HP Piping as per codes & Standards.
** Ensure the Heat Treatment process in Piping & Pressure Parts before (Preheating) and after (PWHT) welding process for required materials.
** Knowledge in ASME Section I,II,V,VIII & IX and ISO codes & standards.
** Preparing of Hydro Test packages for all system like Test report & Clearance report and coordination for successful completion of Hydro Test
** Involved in all Quality activities during Boiler Shutdown in Warranty period
** Preparation of Quality Failure Reports(QFR) and generation in ERP server.
** Handled materials - CARBON STEEL (SA106 Gr A,B,C), ALLOY STEEL (SA 335 P91, SA335 P22, SA335 P11 & SA335 P12), STAINLESS SLEEL (SA312 TP 304L & SA312 TP 316L).
** Responsible for Erection & Alignment of Boiler Steel Structure,Pressure Parts & Piping’s.
** Responsible for Control of all activities in projects, Coordination with Consultant / Contractor for resolving Erection & Quality related problems like Non Conformance Report.
** Inspection of Alignments in Structural Columns, Static and Rotary Equipment’s.
** Ensure the Hardness testing and PMI testing for materials as per standards
** Responsible for making of Mechanical Completion report (MCR) and Final Hand over to Clients
** Responsible for Preparing Final Punch List in the area of Pressure Parts, All Piping’s & Piping Supports and Insulation
** Involved in analyzing of Root Cause in Boiler Valve during Operation Time Failure and making of Root Cause Analysis Report (RCA)
** Responsible of Inspection & Monitoring of Insulation & Refractory work in Boiler Piping & Pressure Parts as per standards and manual.
