Representative Project Experience :
Project # 1:
Customer : PG&E, USA
Duration : 30 months
Software : ArcGIS10, ArcFM10, ArcSDE10, MicroStation and Oracle 11g
Description :
** PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric Company) is considered to be one of the largest combinations Natural Gas and Electric Utilities in USA. The objective of the project was conversion of electric and gas networks from their GEMS mapping system and legacy data sources into ESRI-based GIS system. The conversion was required to include electric and gas distribution and transmission networks. The Technologies used were ArcGIS 10, ArcFM 10, ArcSDE 10, and MicroStation.
** I am having significant experience in converting the underground electric system for San Francisco area involved UFM (Underground Facility Manager). The sources in the San Francisco are having the detailed information about the Duct (Manholes and Conduits) and Circuit Views (Primary, Secondary, DC and Streetlight) of each street in San Francisco area downtown. He is having good experience in reading the sources and understands the UFM Concepts to converting the data.
** The Underground Facility Manager (UFM) allows you to create and manage underground structures. Existing Conduit Manager Tools in ARCFM allow you to create and configure a network of conduit and ducts within that conduit. UFM provides the ability to create and manage the underground structures that connect the conduit. We may create duct banks and ducts to which the conduit is associated. UFM provides the ability to assign conductors to duct banks and ducts
The below listed steps are involved in UFM :
** Conduit Manager Configuration of duct bank.
** Create butter fly diagram using Underground Facility Management Tool
** Wall Duct Bank and ducts Creation
** Associate Conductors and Cables to Ducts
** Cross Section Annotation
Have good experience with dealing different sources to capture the UFM data and good Knowledge at UFM and Conduit manager configuration part. Good ability to study the sources and update the configurations. Good Knowledge on understanding the underground electric network systems. Having hands on experience in running QC/QA tools to validate/verify the outputs with standard business rules. Good ability to identify the Source discrepancies and report to customer.
I was responsible for data conversion of their electric distribution features as per the project specs and checklists and for validation of the output as per the checklists provided.
He worked as Quality Control technical support for team and verification of the output as per the checklists provided.
Project # 2:
Customer : PSE Gas & Electric, USA
Duration : 4 months.
Software : ArcGIS10 and Micro Station and Oracle 11g.
Description :
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is Washington State’s oldest Local Energy Utility providing electrical power and natural gas in the Puget Sound region of the northwest United States. The utility serves electricity to more than 1 million customers. It was looking to convert data from analog sources into Smallworld GDO & EO and was looking to accomplish this in a phased manner as under :
** Convert existing analog drawings of gas & electric network into Smallworld GDO & EOCreate
** PGDB files of electric for field survey.
** The software used was GE Smallworld, ArcGIS& Micro Station.
** I was responsible for data conversion of their electric distribution features as per the project specs and checklists and for validation of the output as per the checklists provided and also worked as Quality Control technical support for team and verification of the output as per the checklists provided.
Project # 3 :
GT (Geomatic Technologies), Australia :
GT is a leading Australian company in the business of mobile and spatial technology solutions relating to asset and data management in the utility, transport, and government sectors. The project objective was data maintenance of their electrical and gas networks using Smallworld EO (Electric Office) 3.1 and 4.2.
I was responsible for data maintenance of the electrical and gas network features as per the project specs and checklists, verification of the output as per the checklists provided, and adoption of new process strategies.
Project # 4 :
SEC (Saudi Electric Company), Saudi Arabia :
SEC is a leading utility company in Saudi Arabia. SEC were looking to have an updated and centralized geo-database of their overhead (surveyed) and underground assets in AlHasa and Northern regions from different legacy data sources to ESRI GIS platform. The volumes related to about 275,000 consumers. The technologies used were ArcMap 10.2.1, MicroStation V8, and Oracle 11g.
I was responsible for :
** Data conversion of electrical and gas network features as per project specs and checklists
** Post-processing of network data and preparation of validation reports
** Delivery tasks, connectivity checks, and run of QC tools
Project # 5 :
Name :PECO
Client :Philadelphia Energy Company
Duration :March 2016 to August 2016
Environment :((Intellect) Micro station V8Environment
Description :
Conversion of Gas network and related features at accurate locations as per the dimension values based on the PECO’s legacy gas quad maps in G/Technology by preferring the revised data conversion specifications.
The project scope involves :
** Conversion of gas Mains, Services, Fittings, Valves and other gas network features
** Editing of Non-exact dimensions
** Conversion of Simple, Chain, Orthogonal and curved dimensions
** GMR Linking &WO’s updates
Project # 6:
Name : Southern California Edison(SCE)
Duration : June 2017 to November 2019
Environment : ArcGIS
I was responsible for :
** Data conversion of electrical and gas network features as per project specs and checklists
