Apr ’17 to till date : Sr.Manager-C&I maintenance, Main Plant (M/s Rosa Power, Shahjahanpur, U.P.)
In addition to the responsibilities listed under Manager, Now, my responsibility includes :
1.) Maintenance of BTG area include DCS system, DEH system, TSI, ETS, FSSS (BMS) Furnace safeguard & supervisory system, MFT. Logic creation & modification in Honeywell DCS, Emerson DCS Ovation developers, Rockwell PLC as per operation, management & process requirement. Maintaining Steam turbine supervisory instruments & boiler field instruments.
2.) Control Engineer in Steam turbines sub critical & super critical thermal power plant, adept in implement, test, designing and developing boiler control systems in DCS & PLC.
3.) Ensuring use of PPEs and zero accident, To improve safety awareness among technicians through counseling. Ensure availability of all C&I systems related to Turbine & Auxiliaries, UPS, DCS, SWAS. To attend routine maintenance in Turbine & Auxiliaries, SWAS, MOVs area. Timely testing of Interlock and protection trials of Turbine & Auxiliaries. Long term planning & execution of unit overhaul. Root cause analysis & action for avoiding recurrence of problems using latest technologies, improving plant reliability. Ensuring backups of DCS and PLC System. Coordination with other departments for minimizing delay.
4.) Technicians development through OJT/counseling. Spares/inventory Management and Development of Indigenous spares. Technical Audits & Compliance. Implementation of IMS, 5S, IMS Report unsafe conditions, unsafe act and near miss in the work area. Ensure implementation of job safety analysis. Ensure checklist for equipment being followed. Ensure compliance to safety audit observations.
5.) Safety (Ensuring all protections while doing service and maintaining zero accident). Process / System improvements for Turbine & Auxiliaries. Ensure critical spare availability and Contracts manpower engagement.
6.) Boiler Control System Process knowledge including the following sub-systems, CCS , Fuel flow control, primary, secondary, and Air flow control, Feedwater and drum level control.

Apr ’14 to Apr’17 : Manager - C&I maintenance in Main Plant, AHP, BOP, CHP area (M/s Rosa Power, Shahjahanpur, U.P.)
1) Maintenance of the entire AHP area ranging from Buffer hopper to Ash silo and from Collecting towers to Ash dyke, ESP hoppers, Ash slurry & Fly ash pump house, Bottom Ash area including regular protection & interlock checking, fire system upkeep, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance etc.
2) Auto change-over scheme for Incomer and bus coupler was designed and implemented as per control philosophy successfully.
3) Working on Allen Bradley make Rockwell PLC systems. (Control Logix 5563, 5561, Compact Logix L33ER,L35CR etc).
4) AMC Co-ordination of Static weighbridge, In-motion weighbridge, Rockwell PLC, UPS, Compressors & dryers.
5) Budget preparation, Spares planning and procurement of the entire area.
6) Handled shift as a single C&I point of contact for all operation related problems.
7) Worked on Honeywell Experion DCS and Emerson DCS system.
8) Protection & Interlock checking of Power Plant Equipments (BFP, CEP etc) with operations.
9) Responsible for maintenance & upkeep of TSI(Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation) system i.e. Zero speed Sensors(Eddy Current & Magnetic),Eccentricity & Vibration Sensors during shutdown & light up activities & in shift routine

Deputed to Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project in Sasan for commissioning of second unit of SUMPP 6X660MW.

1.) Joined as a GET in Reliance Power Ltd. Mumbai.
2.) Underwent 3 months training at NPTI Nagpur.
3.) Commissioning of Turbine & Boiler instruments including its calibration testing and settings.
4.) FAT of PLC Control panel at Rockwell Automation & SAT at site.
5.) Commissioning & Modification in GA drawings and logic of Fuel oil handling system having two HFO tanks and one LDO tank with its instruments and interfacing with PLC & DCS.
6.) Commissioning , interlock checking & Modification in system logic and field instrument location of Ash Handling system having compressor system, Ash water system , Ash slurry system ,Bottom ash system, Fly ash system , Wet ash system (HCSD area)
