Project Name : “PCR based detection of food borne pathogens like Salmonella And Shigella in Chicken samples”

Description : The main objectives of this project are,
1.
Collection of chicken samples from selected chicken outlets in and around Malleshwaram and Vayyalikaval, Bangalore.
2. Isolation of pathogens using enrichment media.
3. Phenotypic and biochemical characterization of pathogens.
4. PCR detection of pathogens.
5. To assess the extent of pathogen contamination of poultry products.

Completed Molecular Biology related works at Nithya Genome Technology in Malleshwaram.

** DNA Extraction with different methods and Preparation of Buffers and media with appropriate conditions.
