Project 1 :
Title :POWER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORK FORNON-LINEARLOADS USING INDUCTIVE ACTIVE FILTERING METHOD.
Description : In this project,by using IAF method, we can improve Power quality of public grid like distribution network as well as power supply system, for non-linear loads.Due to the harmonic current produced by the non-linear loads and by using IAF method we can make the grid current purely sinusoidal and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) can be improved.
The results can be obtained through simulation by MATLAB/Simulink..
Project 2 :
Title :THERMOELECTRIC POWER GENERATION USING PELTIER ELEMENT.
Description : In this project we are demonstrating the method to produce electrical energy required to run a small DC motor and LED lighting, from heat energy generated by candle/heating coil.
Deliverables : Sensor analysis, battery monitoring, necessary circuit development and load management.
