Responsibilities :
** Reviewing the fashion trends and the clothing market for creating fashion designs.
** Identifying target markets by looking at factors such as age, gender and socio-economic situation.
** Preparing drawings of the designs in line with the existing patterns to a new style.
** Selecting & buying fabrics and specifying the fabrics to be developed.
** Inspecting the quality of garments and planning the clothing production methods.
** Identifying market segments for business development potential & cultivating relationship management with high value clients for enhancing the level of order generation.
** Creating/visualising an idea and making a sketch by hand or using computer aided design (CAD).
** Analysing trends in fabrics, colours and shapes.
** Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams to ensure the item complements other product.
