Projects & Work Done :
Master Of Engineering Project :
Title : Anamoly detection medical data through wireless communication
Description :
** Telecommunication technologies in telemedicine service are the progress of wireless and portable networks.
** They have wide application of mobile electronic health care system.
** There is a tremendous growth in personal healthcare system using implantable, wearable medical devices and sensors with the help of networking and sensing technologies.
** Security is a fundamental system necessity because many patients have isolation concerns when their individual information is shared over the open wireless channels.
** This project determines the characteristics and security problems with wireless and persistent information interaction for a mobile health care system. Mobile health care system consists of number of sensors attached to a patient.
** These sensors form a mobile Body Area Network (BAN) and assemble data that are sent to a hospital or health care Centre for monitoring.
** The sensors are used to collect body parameters like heart pulse; glucose level etc.
** BAN contains sensors and Personal Health care System (PHS).
PHS contains actuator, remote controller and hub.
** Sensor is used to collect data and actuators are used to monitor data.
** The transaction between sensors and actuator is done through wireless communication.
** Attackers may attack the data while transferring from sensors to actuator.
** To overcome this problem channel monitoring and anomaly detection are introduced to transmit data more securely.
** Channel monitoring is used to monitor private channel of body area networks.
** If any hackers are found in the channel then it is informed to anomaly detection.
** It will jam the hacker’s channel and stop further communication.
** By using anomaly detection and channel monitoring data can be transmitted more securely through wireless sensor networks.
