Description of the project is CUK converter is DC-DC converter . It is capable of operating either step up or step down mode .It is widely used in battery operated equipment.

Title : SEPIC coverter design and operation
Description of the project is SEPIC converter is also a DC-DC converter.
A SEPIC is similar to traditional Buck - Boost converter . It has the advantage of having non - inverted output by means of coupling energy from input to the output via sesies capacitor. SEPIC is used in applications like battery charging where voltage can be above and below that of the regulator output.
Major Project :
Title : A high voltage gain DC-DC converter with diode-capacitor voltage multiplier stages.
Description of the project is DC-DC converters are being used in for various applications like micro grid, hybrid electrical vehicles, aerospace etc..The significance of this project is the voltage magnitude of renewable energy sources will be very less and these can be applicable for limited applications like charging battries of low voltages which is not economical. If the low voltage can be boosted to high voltage then these sources can be integrated to the dc microgrid. In order to boost the low voltage to high voltages a very high gain dc-dc converter is required,so the diode-capacitor voltage multiplier stages boost the low voltage to a very high voltages.
