Working as “Executive Recovery Process” in Bilt Graphic Paper Product Limited, Bilt Ballarpur since July 2010.
Responsibilities : Shift incharge and maintenance, trouble shooting in plant Operations.
Facilities : DCS (Distributed Control System) and TQM concept,
Equipments handling : Multiple effect evaporators, Recovery boiler, Lime kiln, PG plant Rotary drum vacuum filter, Clarifier, Classifier, Condenser, ESP (Electro static precipitator), Heat exchanger and Pumps.
Recovery Process :
Weak Black Liquor generated in pulping process is the raw material for recovery division which contains precious heat value there by recovering the chemicals.
Weak Black liquor is concentrated to Heavy Black liquor by passing through multistage evaporators (Long tube vertical evaporator) having two streets with five bodies each and finally in Free Flow Falling Film (FFFF) evaporator.
Heavy Black Liquor is burnt in two Recovery Boilers to generate steam for power generation and smelt called Green Liquor.
Green liquor is mixed with lime to produce White liquor as slurry.
White liquor slurry is taken to three causticizers and clarified in white liquor clarifier. Over flow white liquor is send to pulp mill as cooking chemical again.
Thick lime mud under flow is washed in two stages of mud washers to recover alkali in the lime mud.
Lime mud slurry is feed to Mudfilter to filter the mud cake to feed it in Lime kiln.
In the lime kiln mud is again converted to lime which is usefull for causticizing reaction again.
This is a complete cyclic process of recovering 93% chemicals.
Job responsibilities :
Production Planning, Monitoring & controlling of process with DCS system to maintain high quality standards of products as shift incharge
Planning and coordination with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs
Basic engineering calculations for the process modifications and projects
Establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for assigned production operation and/or Process.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental procedures
Startup and shutdown Operations of process equipments
Trouble shooting and technical suggestion regarding process

Shift in charge” in Shreyans Paper Industries Ltd Ahmedgarh Punjab since July 2007 to July 2009.
Responsibilities : Shift incharge and maintenance, trouble shooting in plant operations.
