ECG signal processing for the purpose of telemedicine application using the platform ‘MATLAB 7.10’
Minor project:
RR-interval and Heart Rate calculation from the ECG signal Description: ECG signal consists of different wave peaks like ‘P-wave,’ ‘QRS-complex,’ ‘Twave,’ and ‘U-wave.’ For diagnosis purpose, first wave peaks are identified.
The ECG signal is a noisy signal so, noisy elements have to be removed before the signal is used for next data processing like heart rate detection
Major project :
ECG signal compression and Heart rate abnormality detection Description: ECG signal acquired long time period and it is highly data intensive and also requires large storage space for database construction and more transmission bandwidth. So, compression of ECG signal reduces the number of bits in order to transmit the signal in wireless channel
