NBN Co Limited is an Australian government-owned corporation tasked to design. FTTX (FTTN, FTTP, FTTC) Technology design to deliver access to fast broadband to Node-end rollouts to Multi Dwelling Units (MDUs) and Single Dwelling Units(SDUs).

Responsibilities  :
** Study and Analyze the Inputs data received from client, this included verify the raster images, Customer houses details , land base, Area design specification, Field survey detail etc.
** Ensuring address validation by using the client specified online survey sites and also desktop survey.
** Ensuring verification of installation FTTX proposing route from existing usable Devices to proposed route(Multi Dwelling Unit, Single Dwelling Units)MDU & SDU. And analyzing the provided mud map (hand drafted map or computerized).

The Distribution boundaries and the approved Fiber Distribution Hub location provided by the client prior to Final design. Pre design will be done by showing the route along the existing network.

** After receiving fielding inputs final design will be initiated prior to final design planning should be done by considering the number of premises and type of premises to be served in a distribution area boundary.
** Planning will determine FDH size, Feeder requirements and spare capacity the provisioning of fibers for SFUs, SBUs, MUXs will be different.

** Study and Analyze the Inputs data received from client, this included verify the raster images, Customer houses details , land base, Area design specification, Field survey detail etc.
** Ensuring address validation by using the client specified online survey sites and also desktop survey.
** Ensuring verification of installation HFC proposing route from existing demarcation to proposed route to (Multi Dwelling Unit)MDU, Validating the existing Devices, Multi-Ports, Security Box (SB) Joints(Telstra), Pits and Ducts (Telstra) & connectivity to the MDU. And analyzing the provided mud map(hand drafted map or computerized).
** Planning the building overviews and floor plan views and designing it in AUTOCAD.
** Designing of the lead in cables, PCDs & ICDs, security boxes, Taps and ducts etc. and Proposing as per the design guidelines and specifications of Telstra.
